Culture in Felixstowe

As part of the Felixstowe Book festival, there are 9 workshops with schools, authors and illustrators as well as talk and other events supported  Stillwater books.
The focus was around the 100 years of Ladybird books, and the children of Kingsfleet  and Fairfield Schools have so far taken part in my workshops.
This is a glimpse of the great work these children generated;they addressed a number of challenges , not least to create a whole version of the chosen story  for their school, in one morning.
It was stunning to see how they met the requirements of storyboarding, placing of words and writing, and what visual solutions they came up with.
Team work and focus were amazing and inspirational !!!
